BURSARY ANNOUNCEMENT. UFPCC

The UFPCC is pleased to announce that once again this year we are offering members children and grandchildren the opportunity to apply for a bursary towards their continuing education costs.Applicants are only eligible to receive one bursary from the UFPCC in their lifetime.The applicant will be required to submit a copy of their SIN number to receive their cheque, if they are awarded a bursary. The UFPCC is required by law to have T4s issued for bursary funds, and this requires the applicants SIN number.Bursary Requirements:● All Applications are due at the UFPCC office by May 31st 2024. Hard copy or email applications accepted.● The applicant must be the biological or adopted child or grandchild of the UFPCC Member or under legal guardianship and legal custody that were not previous crown wards and not previously awarded a bursary from the UFPCC.● Applications are available online at www.ufpcc.com. (Downloads)● Proof of registration to the post-secondary institution is due at the UFPCC office by August 31st, 2024. Proof can take the form of part, or whole payment, or OSAP approval documentation for the upcoming academic year.● Selection of successful applicants for the UFPCC and the James (Jim) Mallon BURSARY, will be done by random draws, and that will take place at UFPCC September Board Meeting.● Bursaries will be distributed in the fall of 2024.
